Use Ask AI
Get help with one decision, understand the answer’s sources and turn it into a useful next action.
Ask AI can explain a concept, help you think through a decision or suggest a small test. Use it alongside your evidence and your own judgement.
Before you start
Sign in to send a question. You can open the assistant from public pages, but a conversation needs an account. The header Ask AI button opens the assistant; the Founder Portal also has an Ask the AI Co-Builder area.
Ask a useful question
- Open Ask AI on the page you are working on.
- Decide whether to enable Use my saved work. This can include selected work already saved to your account.
- Describe your current decision, what you know and one constraint. Choose a suggested prompt if you need a starting point.
- Press Enter to send. Use Shift + Enter for a new line. The assistant’s Stop response control stops an answer in progress.
- Read the label and source links beneath the answer. Follow up if the answer misses an important detail.
Understand what came back
AI answer indicates generated guidance. Library answer · live AI unavailable means the response draws from OpenBuilder reading while live AI cannot complete the request. Built on your saved work lists the saved sources used. A useful answer can still be incomplete or mistaken.
Review suggestions before copying them into a Lab, worksheet or plan. A chat answer does not automatically submit a deliverable, book a mentor or complete an application.
Continue or keep the conversation
Scroll inside the conversation to review earlier text. Copy an answer or use the global assistant’s menu to export the conversation as text or PDF. Voice input and read-aloud controls depend on browser support.
New chat starts a fresh conversation; it does not delete the previous one. The global assistant’s History lets you reopen or delete saved conversations. The portal and header assistant may open different threads.
