Growth Lab: make progress repeatable
Use customer and operating data to improve acquisition, retention, economics and delivery.
Choose Growth Lab when a solution is in use and you need to understand how growth can become repeatable. The work connects customer acquisition, retention, unit economics, people and delivery.
Before you start
Sign in to work in the Lab. Bring the best customer, sales and cost information you have, with a time period and source. If a number is an estimate, label it. You enter these inputs yourself; the Lab does not automatically connect to your accounting or sales system.
Work from a real constraint
- Read the Growth Lab overview, then open the Lab.
- Start with unit economics and your go-to-market approach. Identify which assumptions need better evidence.
- Review customer cohorts, retention and the sales process. Use consistent time periods and definitions.
- Map the roles, partnerships and operating routines needed to deliver reliably.
- Choose a growth experiment and meaningful metrics. Include the observation that would make you stop or change it.
- Complete the required activities and quiz, then review the Growth Playbook summary. Use its completion control to finish the challenge.
What should the playbook answer?
Who are you serving? How do they find you? Why do they return? What does serving them cost? Which process is creating the biggest constraint? What will you change next?
What happens next
Run the chosen test, then record the outcome and decision in your founder portal. Keep failed or unchanged results: they can prevent a more expensive mistake.
Growth Lab completion shows that you completed its learning work. It does not establish that your venture is ready to scale or raise investment. Use Accelerator Lab when those are the questions you need to examine.
