My certificate is not appearing
Check completion, profile details and issuance before retrying a certificate download.
A certificate is an issued learning record. Viewing a preview or reaching the end of a page does not by itself confirm that the certificate has been issued.
Before you start
Sign in with the account used for the activity. Make sure your full name is saved in Settings through Edit profile. The course certificate uses your account’s profile name rather than a name entered into an arbitrary worksheet.
Check the activity requirements
- Return to the Lab or course you completed.
- Look for unfinished activities, missing required answers or an unsaved final output.
- Follow the activity’s completion instructions. If Course certificate locked appears, complete every required mission and save the final output.
- When certificate controls are available, choose Show preview for a course certificate to reveal the download and sharing buttons. Use the offered action and wait for its result.
- Open My Certificates and check All before narrowing to Lab, Course or Program.
Different activities have different completion requirements. A general progress indicator is not a substitute for that activity’s verification checks.
If issuance or download fails
Read the message first. Name required means you should update your profile. Could not issue certificate means the request did not complete successfully; preserve your work, check the connection and retry after addressing any stated requirement.
If the issued certificate appears in the library but the PDF or image failed to download, retry its download there. Do not reset a completed course to fix a file download.
Verify or report a missing record
Issued certificates have an ID and a public verification link. Use that link when sharing proof of the record. If verification fails or an earned certificate remains absent, contact support with the course/Lab name, approximate completion time, error and certificate ID if one was issued.
Describe what the product confirmed. A screenshot of a preview can help explain the problem, but it is not a replacement for a saved issued record.
