Lab progression and deliverables
Understand the difference between a draft, a completed Lab step, a finished challenge and a deliverable.
A Lab contains a guided challenge made up of activities. Writing an answer, completing an activity and finishing the whole challenge are separate actions.
Start or continue
- Open Labs and choose the stage that fits your work.
- Use the available start or continue action. You can choose any of the four stages; you do not have to finish every earlier Lab first.
- Open the challenge and work through its step requirements.
- Check the save state when you finish a step. A locked next step may require the current activity or check to be completed first.
- At the end, review the summary and use the final completion control. Reaching the last screen alone is not the same as completing the challenge.
Understand progress labels
The progress inside a Lab tracks its activities. Catalogue or challenge completion indicators describe a broader unit of work. These measures can differ while you are still working.
Use the actual saved answers and completed-step indicators to decide where to resume. A percentage, XP total or badge is not an independent assessment of venture quality.
Find a deliverable
Some Lab summaries create a downloadable output. Saved deliverables are available in the Deliverables Library, where you can filter, download and manage sharing.
The library contains saved deliverable records. It is not an archive of every unfinished tool draft, every course note or every file on your device. For course outputs, also check Bring in earlier work → Your evidence in the founder portal.
Starting again
Use Continue when you want to keep your work. Fresh-start and reset actions clear the relevant Lab responses and completion; read the confirmation carefully and download anything you want to retain first.
If a save or submission fails, keep the page open and follow progress recovery.
