Achievements and certificates
Understand learning rewards, issue a certificate and find the saved credential afterward.
OpenBuilder uses badges, XP and certificates to recognise learning activity. These can help you track momentum, but they do not independently verify your venture, financial results or readiness for investment.
Before requesting a certificate
You need to be signed in, have your full name in Settings and complete the required work for the relevant Lab or course. A certificate preview is not yet an issued record.
Course issuance checks the required answers. Marking progress locally without completing those answers is not enough. Lab certificates depend on recorded challenge completion. Programme certificates have their own completion requirements.
Issue and download
- Finish the required activities and final completion actions in the Lab or course.
- Open the certificate controls shown with that completed work. For a course certificate, choose Show preview to reveal the download and sharing buttons.
- Check the displayed name. Update your profile first if it is missing or incorrect.
- Choose Download PDF, Download image or the available sharing action.
- Wait for issuance and download to finish. If an error appears, keep your work and follow the certificate troubleshooting guide.
A download request checks and saves the credential before producing the file. Do not treat an unconfirmed preview as a credential you can verify publicly.
Find an issued certificate
Open Certificates. Filter by Lab, Course or Programme, then open the available download or sharing controls. Verification links let a recipient check the issued record.
Use achievements well
The founder portal groups XP and streak features under Practice & momentum in Your wider workspace. Treat them as encouragement to return to useful work. For a venture decision, review the underlying observation, output and next action instead of relying on a reward total.
An OpenBuilder completion certificate recognises the specified learning work. Do not describe it as an external university qualification or a guarantee of business performance.
