Protect private information and check AI suggestions before applying them to your venture.
Use AI to improve your thinking, not to replace customer evidence, professional advice or a decision you need to own.
Before you share information
OpenBuilder’s Privacy notice explains how AI features use prompts and relevant context with configured AI service providers. Read it before submitting information you would not normally share with a service provider.
Do not include passwords, API keys, payment credentials, confidential customer records or unnecessary personal details. Use anonymised examples and aggregated figures whenever they are enough to explain the problem.
Review an answer before using it
- Separate your observed facts from assumptions and generated suggestions.
- Check the source links and dates where the answer provides them. A linked reading supports learning; it does not prove your business assumption.
- Recalculate important figures and verify eligibility, deadlines or programme requirements with the original provider.
- Treat a proposed next step as a candidate. Adjust it for your resources, customers and responsibilities.
- Save what you actually decide in the relevant Lab, worksheet or evidence record.
Use AI inside Labs and tools
Some fields offer an explanation or a Stuck? Get a hint control. Some tools offer AI critique. These controls work with the context supplied by that feature; they do not all behave like the full assistant.
A critique score is feedback on the submitted work. It is not a certificate, a verified investment-readiness score or a promise of funding. Review the suggested improvements and decide which to apply.
Keep control of your conversation
Use my saved work governs whether selected portal sources inform an answer. It does not disable conversation saving. New chat leaves previous conversations in history; use the global assistant’s History controls when you want to delete a saved conversation.
If the answer is off target, explain what it missed. If it proposes something unsafe or inappropriate, do not act on it; use support to report the issue without adding sensitive information.
