Find and follow through on opportunities

Check the original source, assess your fit and track your own application progress.

The opportunity directory helps you compare funding calls, fellowships, accelerators, awards and useful directories. Treat it as a starting point for research: the provider's current information is authoritative.

Search and check your fit

  1. Open Opportunities.
  2. Search and filter by the venture stage or type of support you need.
  3. Read the eligibility, location, amount or cost where listed, and deadline information.
  4. Look at the listing's status and verification information.
  5. Open Source or the provider link to confirm the current conditions before preparing an application.

Use the save/bookmark control to make a shortlist. A saved listing helps you find it again; it does not contact the provider or submit an application.

Keep a useful application record

Sign in to use Your opportunity follow-through on the page.

  1. Choose an opportunity from the directory.
  2. Open the source and record when you last checked it.
  3. Write the provider's deadline and timezone.
  4. Explain why the opportunity fits and which preparation gaps remain.
  5. Set your application state and one next action.
  6. Choose Save my progress and wait for the synced confirmation. Export a copy when useful.

The workbench records your own progress. Submitted, Accepted and Declined are self-reported states, not automatic updates from the provider. Opening an external link never marks the application submitted.

Apply through the stated channel

Follow the provider's actual application process. Keep any confirmation or reference it gives you, then update your OpenBuilder record. If the provider requests venture evidence, use current material that you can explain and have permission to share.

When the opportunity is not a fit

Record the reason and the most useful preparation gap. You may need a customer test, better financial assumptions or a clearer programme match. Funding readiness can help organise that work without treating every venture as ready to raise money.
