Start with your role

If you are working on a venture, choose Get Help or I need help. Both lead to the existing founder signup.

If you want to offer experience and support, choose Give Help or I can help. Both lead to the existing mentor signup. Complete the mentor application steps shown; account creation and mentor approval are separate.

The entry page offers Founder and Mentor. Investor and partner relationships are curated directly by the OpenBuilder team. Existing approved access is retained. You can build and mentor through the same account.

Choose a Lab by the question you need to answer

You can explore a Lab directly. The assessment helps if you are unsure; it does not lock you permanently into a stage. Follow the step and save requirements shown inside the Lab you select.

Use a tool or lesson when you have a specific task

You do not need to enter a whole Lab to find a tool. Search the tool catalogue for a task such as customer interviews, pricing assumptions or a pitch deck. Browse courses when a lesson will help you perform that task.

Ask for the kind of help you actually need

Use requesting help for a venture question, mentors for experienced guidance and troubleshooting for a technical problem. Programme applications and opportunities have their own eligibility and status checks.

Keep the next move small

A useful first outcome is one clearer question, one saved observation or one action you can complete. Your portal can hold that next move while you use the rest of the platform to support it.
